Spindlewood Lodges…

Spacious Scandinavian style lodges for self catering holidays all year round, in Shepton Mallet in Somerset. You can actually see Glastonbury Tor from the site. It’s a really peaceful place – absolutely fantastic.

There are 7 log cabins set in 10 acres of secluded meadows, woodlands and orchards. For nature lovers, the location offers the opportunity to see Buzzards, Kestrels, herons, owls, foxes, badgers and deer to name just few of the animals often seen around the lodges during early evening.

The site is also very near to some great attractions. Glastonbury Tor, Glastonbury Town, Well’s Cathedral, Longleat House and Safari Park – and it’s not too far to Cheddar Gorge and Wookey Hole Caves either.

We had a great time there – the lodges are quiet and warm. The surrounding countryside is beautiful and seeing deer run past your lodge in the evening is just gorgeous. I doubt many visitors to Spindlewood don’t return!
